Mont Blanc is the highest mountain in Western Europe and one of the most famous, reaching an altitude of 4810m.
As it requires a minimum of experience and technical equipment, our guides can prepare and escort you to this absolutely unique and spectacular peak.
The goal of this 5 day training course is to reach the summit of Mont Blanc, with 3 days of preparation combining technicalities and acclimatizing in order to obtain the maximum performance for achieving the summit.
Advised and encouraged by our high mountain guides, you will find the energy to reach the coveted summit.


Meeting with your guide the previous evening to review the equipment required and the proposed program.
DAY 1 : Glacier hikes on the "Mer de Glace" in order to learn crampons and ixe axe techniques. Night in Chamonix.
DAY 2 : You will take a little more height by going to cross "La Vallee Blanche" from the Aiguille du Midi to 3842m. Night in Chamonix.
DAY 3 : Departure for Mont Blanc from "Les Houches", by taking the "Bellevue" cable car and the Mont Blanc train between Col de Voza and Le Nid d'Aigle. You will walk to the refuge of the "Tête Rousse" at 3167m where you will sleep.
DAY 4 : Ascent to the "Gouter", by the ridge of the Gouter, at an altitude of 3815 m, then climb Mont Blanc via the Bosses ridge on the same day. Night at the refuge.
DAY 5 : Return to the valley.
This program is given as an indication. It can be modified according to the mountain and weather’s conditions and subject to the refuge’s availability.


To join this course, you must have an excellent physical condition, practice sport regularly as you will need to have endurance at altitude and on glacier terrain.

It is strongly advised to have prior alpine experience, even if it is not an obligation.

* Participant: 4 people max. per guide for the three day preparation and 2 people max. per guide for the Mont Blanc Ascent
* Period: Early June to the end of September
To optimize the chances of success, there are 3 conditions to be considered:
- favorable weather conditions
- good physical condition of participant
- program flexibility (We will follow the program presented as long as it remains to be the most favorable one to the summit climb success)
Having a guide for 2 offers a maximum of flexibility which greatly increases the chances of reaching the summit.
Climbing the Mont Blanc requires a good physical condition with practicing an endurance sport, such as running or cycling.
If the Mont Blanc climb is not possible during this 5 day training course, we will endeavor to climb an alternative 4000m peak and will refund the price difference.


Rate: 1810 € per person (groups from 2 people)
Included: The guiding fee, safety equipment, lifts and 3 half board nights in the mountain refuges
