A 5 day course to perfect the necessary experience to enable you to have total autonomy for your mountain excursions, ranging from evolving on the glaciers, the correct use of equipment, orientation, protection, course planning from A-Z.
Beginning with easy routes and then gradually gaining experience and confidence as the course progresses in difficulty.
During this course perfection, learning from the guide's experience and knowledge and enabling you to master the essential elements of mountain awareness and safety to partake in your mountain excursions without a guide.


This course will be adapted to your level and mountaineering knowledge in order to propose a program gradually progressing in ability.
3 days in a mountain refuge and 5 days in the High Mountain environment, learning and experiencing the natural confrontations in the heart of the action: How to use crampons and learning roping technique. Evolve safely on a glacier. How to get out of a crevasse and especially how not to fall there. Navigating Mountain (map reading, altimeter, compass, GPS ...). How to ensure your progress on a low technical difficulty route. How to react to the unexpected.
Voluntarily we do not attach to a fixed schedule, in order to make the most of the prevailing conditions. 


Beginners accepted, good physical condition and regular practice of sports.

You can hire the technical equipment such as mountaineering shoes, crampons and ice axe. Your guide will provide a full list of equipment needed before your departure and will take care of the necessary safety equipment.

The program may change depending on weather conditions.


890 € per person in a group
This rate includes: guiding fee for five days, three 1/2 board nights in a refuge, three lunches and the security equipment (provided by the guide)
It doesn't include: two lunches, drinks, and eventual lift passes.
