Mont Blanc glaciers
INTRODUCTION
A raid of two or three days to immerse you totally in the majestic glacial universe of the Mont Blanc!
We propose you this course where you will ski tour across various glaciers, the Vallée Blanche, Mer de Glace, Argentière, le Tour, and Trient glacier...
PROGRAM
2 days program:
Day 1: We will take the ski lift up to the top of the Grand Montets (3200 m). Following the Glacier of Rognons, we will reach and cross the Glacier of Argentière (2350 m) (850 m-). Then we will hike the Col du Passon (3028 m ) (680 m+), to descend to the Glacier of Tour and hike back up to reach the Refuge Albert 1st (2701 m) where we spend the night (378 m-) and (50 m +)
Day 2: We will hike back up to the Glacier of Tour to cut across the Col Sup du Tour (3300m). We will keep going to the base of the Aiguille du Tour and hike up the Glacier of Trient (3420 m) (720m+). Here we will start descending along the Glacier of Trient, passing by the Col du Pissoir, the Glacier du Midi des Grands and down to the village of Trient (1300m) (2120 m-). Return to Chamonix by taxi.
3 days program:
Day 1: We will take the lift up to the top of the Aiguille du Midi (3842m) to descend to Chamonix/Montenvers (2850m-/ 2000m-) across the Vallée Blanche. Then, we will take the bus to Argentière to take the lift up to the top of Grand Montets (3200 m). We will go down the Glacier of Argentière across the Glacier of Rognons (2550m) (650 m-). Here we will hike up to the Refuge of Argentière where we spend the night (2770m) (220m+)
Day 2: The day starts with a short descend to then hike up to the Col du Chardonnet (3220m) (770m+). Here there is a short way down to the Glacier of Saleina and we hike back up to the Tour view point (3336 m) to reach the peak of the Tête Blanche (3430m) (300m+). We will go down to the Glacier of Tour to reach the Refuge of Albert 1st where we spend the night (2702m) (750m-)
Day 3 : We will hike back up to the Glacier of Tour to cut across the Col Sup du Tour (3300m). We will keep going to the base of the Aiguille du Tour to hike up the Glacier of Trient (3420 m) (720m+). Here we will start descending along the Glacier of Trient, passing by the Col du Pissoir, the Glacier du Midi des Grands and down to the village of Trient (1300m) (2120 m-). Return to Chamonix by taxi.

A more complete list can be supplied by your guide before your departure. You can hire the technical equipment such as mountaineering shoes, crampons and ice axe at the local shops.

This rate includes: the guiding fee, the security equipment, 1/2 board accomodation in mountain refuges, packed lunches, transfers and lifts as described in the program
