INTRODUCTION

Mont Blanc is the highest mountain in Western Europe and one of the most famous, reaching an altitude of 4810m.
 
As it requires a minimum of experience and technical equipment, our guides can prepare and escort you to this absolutely unique and spectacular peak.
 
The goal of this 5 day training course is to reach the summit of Mont Blanc, with 3 days of preparation combining technicalities and acclimatizing in order to obtain the maximum performance for achieving the summit.
 
Advised and encouraged by our high mountain guides, you will find the energy to reach the coveted summit.

PROGRAM

Meeting with your guide the previous evening to review the equipment required and the proposed program.
 
Day 1,2,3 :
Three days of preparation and acclimatizing to the altitude.
Learning or revision of crampon technique.
Ascension of 3000m/4000m summits with 2 overnight stays in refuge (Albert Premier and Trient refuges)
 
Day 4,5:
These last 2 days are reserved for the Mont Blanc ascension, with overnight stay in refuge.
Take the train up to Le Nid d'Aigle (2300m). Walk up to Tête Rousse hut (3070m) by the beautiful Les Rognes trail or to the Gouter hut (3800m) where doing some scrambling in a wonderful place.
On the last day we will reach the summit and walk back down to the valley.
 
This program is given as an indication. It can be modified according to the mountain and weather’s conditions and subject to the refuge’s availability.

FOR WHO - LEVEL

To join this course, you must have an excellent physical condition, practice sport regularly as you will need to have endurance at altitude and on glacier terrain.

It is strongly advised to have prior alpine experience, even if it is not an obligation.

INFORMATION

* Participant: 4 people max. per guide for the three day preparation and 2 people max. per guide for the Mont Blanc Ascent
 
* Period: Early June to the end of September
 
To optimize the chances of success, there are 3 conditions to be considered:
- favorable weather conditions
- good physical condition of participant
- program flexibility (We will follow the program presented as long as it remains to be the most favorable one to the summit climb success)
 
Having a guide for 2 offers a maximum of flexibility which greatly increases the chances of reaching the summit.
 
Climbing the Mont Blanc requires a good physical condition with practicing an endurance sport, such as running or cycling.
 
If the Mont Blanc climb is not possible during this 5 day training course, we will endeavor to climb an alternative 4000m peak and will refund the price difference.

RATES

Rate: 1750 € per person (groups from 2 people)
 
Included: The guiding fee, safety equipment, lifts and 3 half board nights in the mountain refuges
